The Gallery Haircutters - L'Oréal Hair Colour Trophy 2018
18 February 2018
Another year, another photoshoot for The Gallery Haircutters in Norwich, for their entry to the L'Oréal Hair Colour Trophy 2018. All four images qualified The Gallery team to the Backstage Finals, from where they went on to the Grand Final with the Ladies' entry, and became Regional Winners. Another great achievement for them and so pleased I could play a part in their journey this year as well.

NUA 2019 Prospectus
The new Norwich University of the Arts prospectus has been published. I worked on the photography inside it, and it's been a pleasure to see it go from pre-production stages to the finished printed book, which is beyond beautiful.
Timeless - 'A Century of Iconic Looks' at National Portrait Gallery
13 January 2018
Timeless is now also stocked at the National Portrait Gallery. I again stumbled across the book randomly, while viewing the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize. I have always held the National Portrait Gallery in high esteem, and to see Timeless on their shelves was an amazing feeling. This will never get old!
Norwich Sharing City Campaign
15 December 2017
At the beginning of December I was asked to do the images for Norwich Sharing City Campaign's website. Norwich Sharing City was initiated by Flibl as a platform for creating a collaborative economy. For creating the imagery, I worked closely with the A Fine Studio, who designed the website for the campaign. Rob and Steve at A Fine Studio helped out with the shoots and the image above was actually taken by Rob! But to see more of the imagery I created for NSC, please head over to the campaign's website:

Timeless - 'A Century of Iconic Looks' at Tate Modern
19 November 2017
On a Sunday out in London I visited Tate Modern - as I always do - I find the space and art inside it fascinating. Wondering 'round their bookshop, I spotted a book with a bright pink cover - it was our Timeless! It was a very proud moment to see the book that you've worked so hard for, stocked in one of the most important bookshops in the world.

The Lady Magazine - Front Cover
22 October 2017
This was a very exciting morning! I knew that one of the images produced for Timeless would be on the cover of The Lady Magazine, so I went to WH Smith to see the magazine on the shelves. For me, nothing beats the feeling of walking past a shelf and seeing a photograph that I took looking back at me! Other images from the book have also been featured inside the magazine, as an editorial.
International Photography Awards - 4 Honourable Mentions
4 October 2017
This series of images that I have photographed for the book "Timeless - A Century of Iconic Looks" have won two Honourable Mentions at this year's International Photography Awards, in the categories 'Professional: Advertising, Beauty' and 'Professional: Advertising, Fashion'. It was such an amazing feeling to see my name amongst the winners and to see my work being recognised at this prestigious competition.
The image above, that I have photographed for the book "Timeless - A Century of Iconic Looks", has won two Honourable Mentions at this year's International Photography Awards, in the categories 'Professional: Advertising, Fashion' and 'Professional: People, Other'.
Beyond - NUA's alumni magazine
21 June 2017
After taking a one year break, Norwich University of the Arts have decided to continue making their alumni magazine, Beyond. I have previously photographed for features in the past issues, so I was very excited to see this project returning. The newest issue of Beyond has grown, not just in size, but also in its content, and so my photographic tasks have also increased. I worked closely with the NUA Alumni Officer, Fuchsia Wilkins, under the art direction of designer Paul Oldman (http://smithltd.co.uk) to create stylised images for the publication. My favourite feature we worked on was the “Tools of the Trade”, which required extensive and elaborate lighting set-ups and concentration on the finer details. The results are so rewarding!

The Gallery Haircutters - L'Oréal Hair Colour Trophy 2017
8 January 2017
This is becoming a tradition, and I couldn’t wish for anything else. Back in February, I have photographed The Gallery Haircutters’ entry to the L'Oréal Hair Colour Trophy 2017. As always, it was a day full of ideas, creativity and a very pleased team! These wonderful people have not only have gone onto the Backstage Finals, they also qualified with the ladies image to the Grand Finals, where they went on to become Regional Winners! Such a huge achievement for them and so pleased I could create the images for the photographic stage of the competition.

Advertising campaign for Dancys in Smith Journal
1 March 2017
In April 2016 I started working with Dancys and have done lots of their imagery ever since. They are a lifestyle brand specialising in men's accessories, who design and develop their products themselves. The images I photographed on our very first photoshoot have been used on their website, on social media, but also in magazines. I've always loved Smith Journal, and to see my image in there is a great feeling.
20 March 2016
Norwich Fashion Week is here and I have had the pleasure of photographing Orla Kiely as part of her talk at NUA for Fashion 360. Such a lovely lady!
The Gallery Haircutters - L'Oréal Hair Colour Trophy 2016
14 February 2016
For the third year running, I have collaborated with The Gallery Haircutters Norwich on their L'Oréal Hair Colour Trophy entry. A few months before the competition deadline, we organise a photoshoot where teams from the Salon showcase their hard work on the models' hair. Then we carefully select every image for the Photographic Stage of their entry. This year they have again gone through to the next stage of the competition, the Backstage Live Finals!
15 February 2016
Mimimalism and architecture were at the core of this shoot I did for Studio Sutherl&, who designed the building signage for NUA.
Blu Fashion Studios
19 December 2015
Blu Fashion Studios have just launched their Fall and Winter Collection and I photographed their amazing products for their website.
Made and Printed
25 July 2015
This summer I shot an advertising campaign for Made and Printed, a brand designing homeware items such as lights and hangers. Everything in their shop is made by hand and all materials used are sustainably sourced. The images are used on various marketplace platforms.
The Gallery Haircutters -L'Oréal Hair Colour Trophy 2015
22 February 2015
I was so glad to be asked to go back to The Gallery Haircutters and photograph their L'Oréal Hair Colour Trophy entry again. I knew we would get lots of beautiful images from the shoot and as last year, all three entries went through to the Backstage Live Finals.
The Gallery Haircutters -L'Oréal Hair Colour Trophy 2014
9 February 2014
My first ever client commission coming out of university was from The Gallery Haircutters in Norwich, for their L'Oréal Hair Colour Trophy Competition Entry. It was a full day of creative collaboration with the talented team at The Gallery - we photographed so many models with various hairstyles, but in the end we selected these three images as their competition entries. All three photographs went through to the next stage of the competition, the Backstage Live Finals!
